Ludovici & Partners organizes a conference on the relationship between tax authorities and taxpayers in the recent tax reform

On 23 June 2016 the meeting held at Palazzo Parigi, Milan, analysed the recent reforms aimed at modernizing the relationship between taxpayers and tax authorities, these reforms are a response to the enhanced reliability of the Italian tax system as a whole. The meeting analysed measures ranging from the Controversies Reduction to Cooperative Compliance and assessed their effect on tax planning of companies and multinational groups.
This theme has been introduced by Prof. Augusto Fantozzi, the domestic aspects of the reform were thereafter analysed in a greater depth by Roberto Cusimano, Vittorio Giordano, and Pietro Piccone Ferrarotti. While Jeffrey Owens, Director at WU Global Tax Policy Centre of Vienna, Jeremy Tyler, Deputy Director HM Revenue & Customs and Paolo Ludovici focused on both the change in the international framework and the consequences on national best practices.
