Paolo Ludovici founded Ludovici Piccone & Partners in November 2014. Previously he worked with Maisto e Associati since its set up and he became partner of the firm in 2000. His expertise includes domestic and international corporate reorganizations, M&A and structured finance transactions, tax planning for high net-worth individuals and trusts. He often acts as an expert in criminal and tax proceedings.
He was awarded in 2014 “Tax Star Status” by Chambers & Partners on the back of overwhelming praise from clients. In 2015 he has been recommended “Band 1” in Chambers Europe and Chambers Global Guide. In 2016 he has been recognized “Leading Individual” by Legal500 EMEA and recommended “Band 1” in Chambers Europe and Chambers HNW Guide, furthermore he has been identified among the leading experts by Who’s Who Legal in Private Client and Corporate Tax practice. He has been awarded “Professional of the Year” in both Advisory and Financial Taxation by Legalcommunity at the Finance and Tax Award Event.
He regularly writes for the Italian leading financial newspaper “Il Sole 24 Ore” as well as for other major tax reviews and magazines. He regularly speaks at tax conferences and lectures in post-graduate specialization courses. He is a member of the Tax and Legal Committee of Italian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AIFI) as well as of the Legal Committee of the Italian Private Banking Association (AIPB). He is full member STEP Italy.
He graduated Cum Laude in Business Administration at Bocconi University. He is admitted to the Italian Chartered Accountant Association in Milan.
